Nope ! LOL I’ve spent a lot of hours in stand and have had a couple young bucks close then the first good shot at a doe, I hit the only limb sticking off a small bush.. luckily it resulted in a clean miss but still haunts me. The next couple weeks should be good, I’m hoping to hunt nearly every day till our Nov 9 gun opener then may take a break for a few days then put the orange on and bowhunt among the gunners....

James

Love the Waldrop pack seat
being I now only hunt form the ground (too old for tree stands (don't have the agility anymore to fee safe)

I can sit on it kinda sideways (Rt leg out the side) and lean the stand foward off the tree coming down on my left knee
for very good shot stability and ability to shoot to the off side really good

Think Dave Waldrop had some recent shoulder surgery

very nice guy

thing is light as a cork and ccan put a small pack or Haversack on the back

would definately buy again if needed to
but built for a lifetime I think

I didn't post last year as i had a bout of cancer and had a kidney removed on 10/23/19. Only managed to hunt 3 days prior to the operation and took a doe. I'm feeling fine this year and had a good Thursday and Friday morning last week taking a 195 lbs 8-Point and a 168 lbs 7-point pictured below. I didn't get into the second pic as I was alone on the recovery. Good luck to all of you!

Sorry for the date error. My operation was on 10/23/18. I made a speedy recovery, but it certainly took more than 1 day. My Thursday hunt last week was 1 year and 1 day after the surgery. Truth be told, I actually made a few hunts in December of 2018. I hadn't logged on in so long, I had to re-register tonight. It's good to be back.
