tiller question?? - Forkhorn

Maybe a redundant question but if a bow is filleted for split finger how much would it affect shooting three under?

Vabowman just hit it on the head. If you did not know wheather a bow is tillered 1/4" for split finger, or 3/8" for three under, and all things being equal other than the tiller, and that bow is tuned properly the difference in specs would show up mostly often than not on the nock set measurement off square. The difference in tiller for either is that the bow will react quicker to it being tuned in accordance to you style...3 under or split fingers but either 1/4", or 3/8" tiller can be tuned to your style.

I can find no difference or problems shooting a split finger 3 under. Currently have a split that I am shooting with a release. No problems doing that either.
