I understand why - Robert L.

but am sorely disappointed the B.W. has raised their prices I was looking forward to ordering another set of limbs for my PMA early this year but with B.W.s recent increase in price for bows and lombs I will have to postpone my order for a while I realize that it is only a small increase but with prices increasing over the board on most if not all merchandise I will regretfully Have to put off the lomb purchase until later in the year.

How much was the increase?...from what to what?, and when did it take effect. Maybe i better order my PCH-X before it happens again...MMMM?? I should not have been so undecisive on my choise of woods.

If I recall there prices from last year, it only looks like a 20 dollar increase! On a bow that cost 1200 that's minute!

Last year's prices?? That means that i paid high prices for my PSA-X Ebony 60" Black Widow already??....and did not notice i had??.....not that it would haver mattered. You get what you pay for.LOL!! $20.00?...heck, i will put up with that. My grandaughter hits me 2 or 3 times a week for gas money. Now i can tell her to call Roger, or Toby and scold them for one of those days that she will not succeed.LOL!!!

It is unfortunate any business has to raise prices during these hard economic times. I learned from my experience in the archery business when my costs go up, I must raise prices accordingly to stay in business. Believe me BW's increase is minor when gas alone has gone to $3.65/gal. here. Everything goes up accordingly. I would guess the price of the woods alone justifies an increase. Their increase sure ain't going to send them all on a FL vacation. Heck, I have that ole BW Fever so bad I drive 4+ hrs. to shoot em & look at the woods before I by em! But, just call me a BW junkie! Can't help it. Hope you get to order your limbs before we all get slammed again by the government.

In 2006 I bought a PSA3 with boo limbs for $990 (slight up charge for boo). Today I think it might cost about $1110. That is $120 in 7 years. Other bowyers have raised their prices a lot more than that over this time frame. In fact there are a lot of custom bows out there that cost more than BW. Oh that same bow has killed many critters and looks as good today as it did in 2006. A BW is worth every penny. Just my thoughts. Bill

It may be just me, I have seen the BW guys really bending over backwards to provide excellent service in the past few months. Even more than before... and their service was always the best in the business. Maybe they knew the price increase was inevitable and wanted to offset it somehow? Either way, I don't see myself changing from being a die-hard BW guy over a few bucks on a product that can last a lifetime. I may have to wait a few more weeks before ordering... but that's OK!

As I stated in my original post I understand why. It's just that I had been thinking about getting a new set of limbs for a while and had decided to order them eairler in this year but that "small" $20.00 increase had me having to backlog my order. I'm on a fixed income and have to budget when something unexpected occurs I have to divert money already budgeted for something else to cover the unexpected expense. and that is what happened.

Placed my order for the new limbs and was put on the "waiting list" April 8th this year. still have probably another 3-4weeks to wait if not longer.
