I have hunted some late seasons when it would be 10-15 deg. not counting wind chill. Harvesting an animal that late & under those conditions were some of my most memorable! Hard work though as I always had to walk a long distance with a pack full of clothes & hot coffee. Heater body suit works well but is heavy. Shooting in all those clothes is also a challenge. Big ole congrats for your success & determination! Good eatn'!

Thanks,I killed my buck and doe with the bow my mom got me.She got breast cancer and wanted to get me a bow ,she knew how much bow hunting meant to me.She passed away last December so I fletched my arrows with breast cancer pink feathers in her memory. This hunting season was a special one for me.

I noticed the pink feathers in you pic, and wondered....the different taste of people. Little did i know that there was a great story behind them. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I also had a great mom who tolerated my addiction to hunting while I was growing up. Along with my dad, we had many outdoor adventures. Due to their hard work, I have many memories of trips afield. Have a picture with her & my first deer in 1966. Lost her in 1998. Your story was a trip down memory lane. Thanks.
