Has Anyone Seen my Bow ? - Greybark

It`s been eight weeks and I`m running out of patience . I`ve taken to Salmon and Steelhead fishing in a ploy to control my angst and it`s worked (the fishing that is) the angst is stll there and will be for one more week . It is a PTFX with a Zercote riser and Myrtle Burl limb veneer . Anyone on the BW tour keep an eye out and post any observations , anything will help .LOL Cheers from the Westcoast of Canada and am going fishing .

A brief glimpse of the bow in question was reported this morning . The unidentified tipster spoke in hushed tones and provided minimal details but was fairly certain this was the bow . Not much but definatley a trail !!!!!!!!

Solid evidence has emergerd that the "Alleged" bow in question is on the move ! A spokesman for an orginization who wishes to remain anonymous is certain some movement is obvious and will provde up-dates .

Oh Oh , time for plan "B" . Gilbert I don`t mind telling you about plan "B" . It concerns UPS `s delivery of my last BW bow with a screw up so bad that no one in their right mind could intercept anything. LOL

Greybark, you are right...Plan B sucks. Even UPS does not know where it might be. So your bow is safe???????.LOL!!!. WELL, i really cannot complain about UPS. My PSA-X of a month or so ago got to me without any problems whatsoever. I expect you to be a good sport, and post some pictures of it when you get it.

GILBERT , I`m rather PC illerate but will find a way for Pics . I took a bit of a chance with the busyness of the Myrtle Burl veneers in that they could turn out really nice or look like a dog`s breakfast . Rodger and Toby said they turned out well. Thanks (so Canadian) for your participation in this thread . Cheers from the Country that has everything except the Stanley Cup .

Son of a gun , The bow went from the precision of the overnight USA route and dissapeared into a Canadian fog bank at the border . The last bow dissapeared for five days LOL. Onle one day late this time I hope !

It`s here and I`m totaly mesmerized with it ! The Zircote riser has no red and the bamboo in its place is subdude and gives a solid look of unity while provideing a georgous double BW cross in the handle throat .The Myrtle Burl limbs are a wonderful mixture of colour and highly figured with burls , curls ,swirls and spalt and run the whole lenght . Thanks to Rodger and Toby for their patience and suggestions for such a wonderful working piece of art. Cheers ALL !!!! from a happy Canuck........

Man, getting anything from the USA for delivery into Canada is one big farce. I use the Letter Carrier in Point Roberts, delivery from any point in the USA is days, unlike Canada which can take months. As you live on the Left Coast, Point Roberts is a short drive for anyone in the lower mainland. While you are in the USA, you may as well get a cheap tank of gas, and save a whackload of bucks versus Canada's $6.00 a gallon. Just sayin Barry

Ken, i recieved the pictures of your bow. That is an incredible combination of different woods resulting in one of the most beutifull Balckwidows i have seen in a long time....WELL! except for mine. I have never seen Zircote with that kind of wood tone, grain, and pattern. Congrats! Now practice, practice, and practice....do that bow justice. LOL!!
