"Toby" grip??? - Bowhunter4life

I just received a used PSR with the standard grip in a trade. I really like the low T/D recurve grip. Now, I'm wondering if the Toby grip would be more on-line with the low recurve grip??? The standard PSR grip is fine enough, and seems easy enough to get a repeatable grip with, but just wondering if I'd like the Toby grip better???

I know on the PL I like it better. Course, everyone is different so no matter how many opinions you get it won't tell you anything till you try yourself. Regards.

Whats not to like about a grip named after someone like myself?

I have heard a lot of good things about the so called "Toby Grip". Being an Asbell grip shooter I really never looked into it. How about somebody posting a pic of it. I am curious now, and want to see if I might want to try it?

My two favorite grips are the Asbell for recurves and the Toby grip on my PL's. A little more meat on the sides compared to the regular grip. It's the old LAG grip, which wasn't bad w/o the hump in the palm. Maybe Toby can chime in on this.

I guess my main question is how does the Toby grip compare to the low recurve grip???

it is a small palm swell I have it on both my PL and PSR. I think it helps with hand positioning.

Lefty, You have it exactly right. The Toby grip would be comparable to the low wrist on a recurve
