Who shoots a PSR??? - Bowhunter4life

I just traded into a PSR II T/D and it just arrived today... Luckily I had an arrow combo that shoots great out of it right out of the gait... Shot for about a half hour to tonight and I'd hunt with it tomorrow morning... If I was lucky enough to be going hunting rather going to work. Just curious who else shoots one or has shot one and your impressions...

Yeah David that is a looker! Glad it shoots well for you too! I think I'll probably be hangin onto this one... Plus I think it would be to heavy... Based on the PSAX... It's heavier then that one... Lefty, be sure and share some pics and thoughts once you get her. And always good to share Paul. ;-)

The good thing about the PSR is that it has the same grip as the PLs. (Toby Grip that is) I can go from one to the other without any problem at all!

Picked up a used Graybark 60", 42# a few weeks back. Sweet shooting bow....I'm not really a recurve guy, but this one has a home!

Do you guys use bow quivers on yours?

Pretty new to me, but I haven't yet... Seems plenty stable enough without it... I do have a Selway I could use, but I use them on my T/D's... So I think I'll use the Arrowmaster with the PSR...

I use a 2 piece Selway mounted to inserts in the riser. Easy on or off.

I use a Great Northern strap on on my PLs, but they shoot fine with and w/o. Looking forward to this one for the reason Toby stated.

Can someone post a picture of your PSR with a side mount Selway installed? I put my slip on Selway on and it is just to close together for my tastes... The fan of feathers is really wide and extends below the bottom limb... May have to get some side mount quiver inserts installed and pic up a quiver or stick with the Arrowmaster...

I'll try and get some pics of mine up tomorrow. The side mount selway is the ticket. I like the 4 arrow model.

Went stumping with mine yesterday with a Great Northern strap on . worked like a charm. These bows shoot really well.

Generally don't use a bow mounted quiver, but the PSR was the only bow that felt right with a quiver mounted that I have tried (use the Great Northern strap on); (mounted very solid and worked good on that bow for me) I have the non-adjustable model for long bows that I used, The PSR was the only bow for me that I felt comfortable with a bow mounted quiver

Very nice David... You can get a bit of arrow angle back by unscrewing the gripper and moving it back a bit on the mount and screwing it back in... Most of the brackets have extra holes for this...
