take-down pl - Rak

Thinking seriously about a two piece pl and wondering if anyone ever had any issues with the take-down system? My concerns are stability of the bow, looseness or slop in the fit, and the overall longevity of the system itself. Thanks to any and all.

I recently test drove a t/d PL so I can't speak on the longevity of the system but it was a solid fit. No looseness or play. You cant tell its a t/d at all. No noise when shooting. Taking it apart took a little pulling but nothing strenuous. Perfect system in my opinion.

Have had one since Dec.. Tight fit. Can't tell any difference from the one piece PLXs I've had in the past. Also had some doubts but not anymore. Shoots great! Take it apart the way BW recommends & it's easy.

I had one for about 5 years with no problem, just keep a little string wax or whatever on it.. its a great system that's used by quite a few bowyers

I've owned a few. Got one on order now. Also have a T/d PSRX. never a problem with any of them.
