I had one & have shot other bows with the Asbell grip. Not bad but I prefer the standard grip. Seem to fit my hand better probably because it's smaller.

Its personal , I would recommend try before you buy; I like the standard grip on my recurves and the Toby grip on my longbows (but that is just me)

I love the asbell grip I currently have 2 PSA's with it and a bow on order with it, and a couple I have sold. since about 07 its the only grip I will order, I have fairly big hands and the grip fits me perfectly. do a test drive or if your close enough swing by there. I believe I read that they can take a asbel grip down to a standard grip if ya don't like it but cant go the other way...

I just bought two KBXs with asbell grip. In the past I always bought the standard grip which was fine for me, but I tried a bow with the asbell and kind of liked the feel of it. I have medium to large hands and normally like smaller grips best. Ive been shooting the new KBX's/asbell everyday getting ready for turkey season and to be honest "feel wise" I like both the standard and asbell for different reasons. However, I'm shooting better with the asbell my arrow grouping seems improved overall , I think I torque the bow much less with the asbell grip myself. I would to try the low grip Also but haven't had a chance to see one in person yet.

It's a personel thing. If you can, try before you buy. I like the Asbell grip the best. Regards.

I prefer the standard grip on my recurves but to be fair, I have only shot the asbell grip once and it was long before I even considered buying one. The standard grip just melts into my hand and becomes an extension of my arm. I also have fairly large hands. Now, I may be wrong, but the asbell grip felt like a higher wrist than the medium standard wrist. Definitely do the test drive to be sure!
