waxing equip. - Willie

i dont know if anybody waxes their carbon arrows and string groves but i do and can find good benefits to it.i use a dab of string wax put on q-tip and wipe in string grove with string off of bow, this insures constant waxing in string groove.I also wax my carbon shafts with renaissance wax which smooths the finish for better penetration, protection and removing from target.i get best results and longevity when i put a coat on shafts and let it dry all night long and then i take wag and wipe it off (like waxing car).if you dont do this you might be pleased with the results.

I have never put any wax on my bows or arrows, but I do wax my hunting rifles. I buy the Johnson wood floor wax. It really protects the wood and metal parts on a firearm. It helps resist rust and scratches.
