PSR shooters ? - OBXarcher

Seems like the PSR is not heard from much. I just got one for a test drive. It's 58", 46@28 greenleaf, takedown with the toby (i.e. pistol looser) grip. I have owned a lot of bows, I mean a lot. This has to be one of, if not the funniest bow to shoot. I draw 29" and it is smooth as can be. I have shot it a bunch and I really like it. Was out checking traps this morning and sat down and called a little. Had 2 coyotes come in.. Missed one at 10 yds, just low, took hair of his belly. Came home and put 6/6 in kill zone on my deer target at 25 yds. It ain't the bow, it's the operator. Who else is a PSR fan ?

First bow I bought from BW. Had a few off and on. Got the most stunning Bocote to ever be made in the universe (sorry guys, but I do). I've got to admit, a low # Greenleaf has got my attention for turkles! May be one in my future.

Have one : definately the way I always thought a bow should look, favor the TOBY grip myself over the standard very good shooter, great brush hunting bow; I tend to favor the Longbow myself (been shooting a longbow 30+ years) just got another PLx last week Still use the PSR alot hunting the thick cover around here, light and manuverable like the longbow with the zip of a recurve Definately nice bows

Had one in the past. Liked it. I too seem to favor the long bow the more I shoot them. I'm seriously thinking of getting bow # 3, PSRX. That is as soon as I can think up the money. If I get one, that should round out my urges for a long time unless they come up with something new & irresistible.

My favorite bow is the PL with the std grip. That being said my son bought me a PSRX last summer and hunted I with it last fall. The bow has an all black riser limbs are cross cut Green Leaf and at 43# shoots with or slightly quicker than my 50# PLX. Took a doe, a 9pt, and a 10pt with it. I'm sure the it will see considerable time in the turkey blind this spring. Might have 2 favorite bows now. Denny Sturgis Sr

Oh man Dsturgissr! You would have to say all those good things about the PSR! Throw more wood on the fire! Roads are too snow covered today here in SE MO to drive to Nixa (4hrs.). Would like to see that black riser/green leaf. Post pictures?

The PL is my favorite bow also but, I do use a PSR to turkey hunt with. The shortness makes it a good blind bow and the grip feels the same. OBXarcher, If your trying to be funny, It aint workin!!!

I got one to play with for hunting in blinds last year and ended up hunting with it all season. Like you say a fun bow to shoot and carry, same grip as my longbow and great shooter.

Thought I'd share a picture of a non-typical doe I took with a bow here in MO.
