heavy hunter shafts - Willie

Was wondering if anyone has tried the heavy hunter (byron ferguson) shafts.i tried a test kit and the 400 29" with 175 grain point shot awesome out of my bow which is pma 62#@28".the weight came out to 684 grains.i tried the 320 shafts and they were way to stiff unless you wanted 3" of shaft sticking out.

Yes, I shoot them in both of my PL's. I shoot the 400 shaft, as well, with a 175-grain broadhead. I shot my first traditional buck with them this year, and had a complete pass-thru at 10 yards on a quartering away shot. I have no complaints with them at all. The only thing I am going to do is fletch them with a right helical. When I ordered the arrows from 3Rivers, they came fletched with a left helical (only option). I have not shot the arrows into a brick wall or anything, like I have read in some reviews, but they seem to be very well built. I guess the bottom line is they fly great for me, and I like the heavier arrow, so I'm good!
