Planning - Bearhunter

Does any one have any thoughts are feelings on the PSR. Iam planning my second widow and I kind of like the nostalgic look of this bow.

Glad you asked as I'm considering my 3rd Widow to be a PSR. I had one in the past but it's been some time ago. AS I recall, I liked it as well as all the other models I've had over the years. Pretty sure I would get the Toby grip. Like it on my PLX. I think I would also get the longest model for my 27 1/2 " draw. Been looking for the perfect Widow for several yrs. & have had all the models except the PTF at one time or another. My costly experiment with BWs has resulted in the perfect models being all of them. With the other brands I've tried, very few have even come close to Widows. Each BW is unique in it's own way & about as perfect as it gets for trad bows. If I had to put one model at the head of the class, it would be the PLX with the PCHX in the second chair. PSR #3 trying to nudge out the PCHX. Will be interesting to hear responses to your question. Maybe we will see some pictures. Maybe a big tax refund will get me to drive over to Nixa & shoot /order one!

I bought a used one in 2009, and shot my very first "robin Hood" with it. I went through a "minimalist" moment and sold it. Been kicking myself ever since. My next bow will be a PSR. The one that I had was 56", I will either get a 58" or 60".

Thanks guys, I am leaning towards the PSR but have not ruled out the PTF either. I am going to have to make a trip down to Nixa and shoot both of them.

Bear Hunter: I have both (love the looks of the PSR) the way I always thought a bow should loook like (since a kid), It's a great brush hunting bow I think though, the PTF is the better shooting bow- and very minimmaly heavier; at least for me The PTF is my favorite Black Widow with the PL right there with it would'nt trade either
