Grizzly Bear Hunt - ForestPhantom

I want to one day hunt for an Alaskian grizzly bear but I want to make sure I have enough poundage. I currently have a PMAX at 50# but was thinking about moving to 60#. I know 50# is the minimum poundage for Alaskian big game but I want to make sure its not to little. Anyone here hunt bear in Alaska that could give advice before I spend a mound of money on new limbs.

I believe Fred Eichler harvested his Brown Bear with a 54 or 56 pound recurve

50 / 54 is good enough for Bear of any kind. Providing you shoot the right Arrow out of it. With Wensel elites you be fine
