RE: One Piece - Bow Collector

Say I can't make up my mind, whether to buy a one piece KBX or a take down PCHX. Would like some input on this choice. Since I can travel with either bow.

That's a tough choice. I have shot them both and like both. I ended up with a chx I got from Monk and just love this bow. Either one is a good choice.

I would say it's personal preference. I have a KBX because I like the lines of the one piece bow's & I don't travel a lot so it works for me. If I was going to be doing a lot of traveling especially air travel the PCHX would be my choice due to small portable package when taken down.

If it was me I'd go with the take down just because if you ever need to break the bow down for a hunting trip somewhere it would be nice to be able to do so and save some room. I very seldon break my LAG down but if I ever need to I know I can.

Hey thanks a bunch. I know it's personal preference but I can't seem to make up my mind on the two

Well, I have both. I've had my PCH since '10, and I just got my KB in Nov. Both bows are about the same specs, but I have to say, as much as I love my PCH, the KB seems to shoot a little bit better for me.

Both are great bows!!! I had to make this exact decision and I chose the KB... I wanted a short bow and I feel the one piece KB is smoother & quieter with identical length bows. Someday, I will likely get a PCH to have a short takedown as well. There's not a tremendous difference between the two so the rest is preference... KB is a little lighter & smoother with a shorter riser "sight window", PCH is a little heavier / takedown / limb changeability & larger riser "sight window". I love mine & know you will too, whichever you choose!
