ANCHOR POINT - Aaron Jones

Simple question. For those of you who shoot three fingers under, or split finger for that matter, what is your anchor point?

I shoot split finger and use the tip of my middle finger in the corner of my mouth. I've tried shooting three under just to see what it was like and used the tip of my first finger in the corner of my mouth as well.

Three under, middle finger corner of my mouth, thumb tight behind jaw bone, cock feather touching nose. works for me!

Thats the one i use too tine tickler and its quite deadly!! I use a clicker though and im trying to get away from it. A clicker is the best thing youll ever hate! lol That particular anchor for whatever reason doesnt work as well for me without my clicker.

I shot split finger with my index finger in the corner of my mouth for several years, but then changed to split with middle finger in the corner of mouth. The lower your anchor the cleaner your release tends to be, but the closer the arrow is to your eye the more consistent you are with weird angles and quick shots required in hunting. I have found split with middle in mouth to be a good combination of both.

I shoot split-finger and anchor with my index finger on a top tooth (a rear molar). It is more solid than the skin at the corner of my mouth.

I've tried both and prefer 3 under with a three point anchor. Thumb knuckle in behind jawbone, bottom finger in the corner of my mouth with it resting on my rt bicuspid and for the third point, it's the nose on the cock feather. This is a solid anchor with gives me very consistent hits.
