string silencers - Timberking

Just curious what you folks are using on your Widows. Whats the quietest in your opinion? I have been using cat whiskers but still had some "twang" out of my LAG. Tonight I made up some yarn ball silencers and WOW what a difference! Anyway, sure would be nice to hear from you folks on what your using etc.

make my own yarn puff balls; using synthetic yarn (don't hold so much water and dry real quick)

I use Wooly Whispers on my PSA III 62" but a lot of noise come from improper Arrow selection, not enough grains of weight or improperly splined for said bow weight. Hope this helps.

I use horse mane and tail rubbers. They are durable, quiet, water proof, cheap and easy to make. They dont look bad either.

i use 1 of the spider silencers on each end of string and also a brush button.i shoot a pma 62# and i like heavy arrows but in my set-up if you go around 670 grains the bow just dies but if you keep it around 615 grains it shines.what i found to really help the noise is to make sure nok isnt snug (just enough to keep it on string),also if you shoot split fingers dont let your lowest finger not pull its fair share and grip the bow (not choke but grip).
